Meet the Cast

BELLEVILLE

Jordan Sobel* (Zack)   Jordan is an actor, percussionist, fight designer, and teaching artist hailing from San Diego, California. Jordan has had the pleasure of performing in New York City and regionally in cities such as Boston, Chicago, Sarasota, and Fort Worth with companies such as The American Repertory Theatre, Huntington Theatre, and The Asolo Rep, including regional and world premieres. Recent credits include the title role in "My Name is Asher Lev" (CT Critic's Circle Nomination), "Clever Little Lies" (Penguin Rep), and "Disgraced" (Asolo Rep). Jordan would like to thank CoF for this experience and his parents for their continuous love and support.

Jess Rawls (Abby)   Jess is an actor/writer living in NYC. Originally from Northern Virginia, Jess graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015 with a BFA in Theatre Performance. She was most recently seen in  One in Four  where she revised the role of Carrie at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective. Jess also wrote and starred in her own one act,  Bird/Plane,  which was featured in NYSummerfest this past July. She’s thrilled to be a part of  Belleville  and would like to thank her best friends, Becky and Caitlin, for supporting her through this challenging process. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Jess is an actor/writer living in NYC. Originally from Northern Virginia, Jess graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015 with a BFA in Theatre Performance. She was most recently seen in One in Four where she revised the role of Carrie at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective. Jason Aubin (Alioune)   Jason is a native New Yorker by way of Brooklyn. He has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Political Science from Long Island University Brooklyn Campus. Jason made his off-Broadway debut in the spring where he was principal actor of Carlson & Carlson with F.I.G theatre group. He is a current student in Anthony Abeson’s Conservatory program, and also being coached by well-regarded acting coach Lynne Otis. Jason is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this thoughtful piece of work, and even more grateful to Company of Fools for believing in him and taking a chance on him with this opportunity.

Past credits include Emmy, A Doll's House Part 2 (Theatreworks Hartford) and "Elephant in the Room", Women on Fire (Royal Family Productions).
